Weekend Flyer: Isayah’s Allstars, The Half-LIfe of Marie Curie, Holidaze, and more

It’s the Friday after Thanksgiving, otherwise known as “If You’re Buying Christmas Presents Try To Get Them From Local Places Instead Of Purchasing Them Online And Maybe Consider Gift Cards And Merch From Local Bars And Restaurants Who Are Hurting Right Now And Could Certainly Use The Support Friday.” It’s kind of a long name, but we feel like it is catching on this year.

There are also a few things you could check out if you feel like getting out and about this weekend. George’s has a few local performances this weekend, including Isayah’s Allstars on Friday night at 6 p.m. for happy hour. On Saturday night, Friends of the Phamily will take the stage.

TheatreSquared will debut their new streaming show, The Half-Life of Marie Curie this weekend. Here’s more info on that, including ticket information.

If you’re feeling the holiday spirit right now, you could head down to Walton Arts Center and check out Holidaze holiday-themed pop-up bar’s new setup this weekend. They are also showing White Christmas at 3 p.m. on their big screen on Saturday.

The Razorback football team had to postpone their scheduled game versus Missouri this weekend because of positive COVID-19 cases, but there’s some basketball planned at Bud Walton Arena versus North Texas on Saturday night. Tipoff is at 5 p.m.
