Weekend Flyer: Uncrowned Kings, The Mixtapes, KUAF Vinyl Hour live, and more

It’s the weekend again, everyone.

Did you see that TheatreSquared made the NY Times list featuring the best theatre of the year this year? They were one of only 10 projects to get recognition this year. Anyway, they have a new virtual show called The Half-Life of Marie Curie that is also getting rave reviews right now. Here’s how to watch.

If you feel like checking out some music this weekend, George’s has a happy hour show with local rockers The Uncrowned Kings Friday night at 6 p.m., and The Mixtapes party band is playing a two-night stand later on Friday night and on Saturday night. Ticket info is here. You could also check out the new George’s merch store.

Holidaze holiday-themed pop-up bar is in full effect at the Walton Arts Center Rose Garden this year. Reservations are available for $15, and proceeds benefit the Walton Arts Center’s Ghost Light Recovery Fund. There is some space for walk-ins as well. Also, on Sunday the venue will host a live version of KUAF’s Vinyl Hour at 5 p.m. Here’s more about that.

There’s some hoops to check out this weekend as well. The Razorback Basketball team is 3-0, and will take on Lipscomb at 5 p.m. at Bud Walton Arena on Saturday.

There’s more below. Be safe, everyone.
