It’s time for another pop-up lounge event in downtown Fayetteville.

This time, the local folks from Experience Fayetteville will set up on North School Avenue in the parking lot next to Kingfish from 5-10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 17-18.

The lounge will include a tent, and some heated, open-air seating to provide space for locals to enjoy take-out and to-go drinks from local restaurants and watering holes downtown.

In addition, this time Experience Fayetteville has partnered with TheatreSquared to show two streaming performances of “A Christmas Carol” back to back beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday night.

Seating will be available for groups of two, four or six. Guests are asked to wear masks until seated, and hand sanitizer will be available upon entry. Also, Experience Fayetteville staff will be on hand to sanitize tables between use, and offer suggestions of where to grab a bit to eat or a drink to go nearby.

A snow machine will be on hand, and Santa’s sleigh will be set up for photos.

Also, the Lights of the Ozarks will be taking place nearby on the downtown square.

Admission to the lounge is free. For a bit more information, visit Experience Fayetteville on Instagram.
