From the announcement:

After temporarily closing Holidaze to complete contact tracing and additional COVID-19 testing for our staff, we have deep cleaned our spaces, and we can safely reopen Holidaze this Saturday. What’s the opposite of holiday magic? Holiday tragic?

We ask, because that’s kind of what happened today, when Walton Arts Center officials announced the cheery holiday-themed pop-up bar Holidaze will be closed through Dec. 19 due to positive COVID-19 tests by staff.

Those who have made reservations are being notified of the closure, and anyone who’d like to cancel or reschedule their reservation may do so by contacting [email protected].

The Drag Time Christmas Story Hour event originally scheduled for Friday, Dec. 18 will be rescheduled, officials said.

Some special time slots have also been related to accommodate guests who’s reservations that will have to be rescheduled.

After testing all staff, Holidaze hopes to reopen on Sunday, Dec. 20.
