The work of a local artist is now on display along Frisco Trail at the site of the Cultural Arts Corridor work zone in south Fayetteville.
City officials recently installed printed mesh panels featuring the work of Kori Bowers on the construction fencing on the east side of the trail where crews are working on the Fay Jones woods area between Center Street and Prairie Street.
The city and the Fayetteville Arts Council put out a request for qualifications for the project last June.
“(The artwork) features native flora and fauna atop Ozark landscape photos,” according to a Facebook post from the city. “The bold lines that criss-cross throughout the work is a purposeful nod to (Fay) Jones’ intricate lattice work.”
