Fayetteville Jazz Festival set for April 23-25 at Fayetteville Public Library

Fayetteville Jazz Festival is set to return for a third year in 2021.
The third annual event is coming to the Fayetteville Public Library April 23-25.
The festival, organized by local organizations Music Moves, the Institute for Creative Music, U of A Community Music School, and Fayetteville Public Library, will include performances by saxophonist Alexa Tarantino (Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Cecile McLorin Salvant Quintet, Sherrie Maricle & the DIVA Jazz Orchestra), trumpet player Rodney Block (Kirk Whalum, Ellis Marsalis, Doug E. Fresh), vocalist Carmen Bruner, and organist Jeremy Thomas (Joey Defrancesco, Arturo Sandoval, David Sanborn).
In addition to the performances, the three-day event will include clinics, workshops on jazz history and improvisation, and more.
