Weekend Flyer: The Mixtapes, virtual shows, Netflix and chill

It’s Valentine’s Weekend. It’s cold, and there’s a little bit of ice and snow on the ground with more on the way later in the weekend.

Despite the wintery weather, there are still a few events happening around town, including several virtual shows you could put on and ignore while you make out with your Valentine / actually pay attention to without getting out from under your weighted blanket.

Let’s start with those virtual options this week. TheatreSquared extended the run of School Girls last week due to the success of the show. You can check that out streaming from their website here.

Also, UA Theatre has a few virtual shows you could check out this weekend, including their show 2084 and a new one called Untitled Tornado Play. Here’s more info.

There’s a bit of music happening this weekend, including the Mixtape’s at George’s on Saturday night. George’s also has a comedy show on Valentine’s evening Sunday night featuring some comedians from around the region.

The Razorback’s Men’s basketball team is taking the No. 10 ranked Missouri Tigers on Saturday afternoon. It’s happening in Columbia, but it’ll be televised via ESPN2. Tipoff is at 3 p.m.

You could sing some karaoke with your sweetheart at Big Box. You could check out one of these Valentine’s Day Prix Fixe meals or specials.
