Local pharmacies will be open on Tuesday despite the winter weather and hazardous road conditions, as they continue to administer COVID-19 vaccinations to qualified individuals.

Both Collier Drug Stores and Medical Arts Pharmacy posted on Tuesday that they will be open and administering shots.

“We are open today regular hours!” read a post on Collier Drug’s Facebook page. “We are calling all of our COVID vaccine appointments to confirm currently. Our Farmington location is without power until 11 a.m. if you need to reach them, please call 479-442-6262 in the meantime.”

Medical Arts Pharmacy posted a similar message.

“Our COVID Vaccination Clinic will proceed as planned today. Anyone who had an appointment to receive a 1st or 2nd dose from us today may come to the pharmacy to receive it. Anyone who had an appointment for a 1st dose that cannot make it will be rescheduled for a later date.

“Anyone who is due for a 2nd dose from us that cannot make it may come to the pharmacy any weekday between 2 p.m.- 5 p.m. to receive their 2nd dose,” read the post on their page, which is similar to the info they sent us on Monday.

Heartland Pharmacy, who is also administering vaccines in Fayetteville, posted they will be open limited hours today due to the winter weather. They’ll be open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. today.
