Happy Friday, everyone.
How about a happy hour? Local all-stars The Odds will perform a happy hour show at George’s on Friday night. They’ll also play at JJ’s Grill on Dickson on Saturday, FYI. Double your Odds!
George’s also has music on Friday night with locals, Goose, and Grateful Dead tribute Friends of the Phamily will perform at the venue on Saturday night.
Walton Arts Center has a virtual show called Dixie’s Happy Hour playing all weekend that we’ve heard good things about. We expect to have a review of that this morning, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
Also in virtual shows, you can still check out School Girls from Theatre Squared.
It’s a good sports weekend in Fayetteville as well, with the Razorback baseball team taking on Southeast Missouri State this weekend, the softball Hogs taking on Texas Tech at Boggle Park, the gymastics team in action versus Alabama on Friday night at Barnhill, and the No. 20 ranked Razorback Basketball team taking on LSU on Saturday at Bud Walton. The Hogs are kind of killing it in all their sports lately.
