Update: Due to inclement weather, this event will be postponed until Friday, April 2, from 5-10 p.m. and Saturday, April 3, from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Experience Fayetteville has scheduled another installment of its pop-up series events for this weekend.

The event will include a lounge at the corner of West Avenue and Dickson Street, also known as the Walton Arts Center parking lot. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 13 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 14 (see new dates above). There is no fee to enter.

The lounge will include a tented area with open-air seating for guests to enjoy takeout food orders from local restaurants and drinks from bars participating in the Outdoor Refreshment Area (ORA).

During Saturday’s event, Ashtyn Barbaree will perform at 5 p.m. On Sunday, Bootleg Royale takes the stage starting at 11 a.m. followed by a performance by The Juice at 12:30 p.m.

“These fun events are a great way to ‘support local’ by enjoying food or drinks from locally owned businesses while experiencing the outdoors,” said Chloe Bell, Experience Fayetteville community engagement coordinator.

Tables will be spaced out under lighted, heated tents for groups of two, four or six. Guests are asked to wear masks until seated, and hand sanitizer will be available upon entry. Also, Experience Fayetteville staff will be on hand to sanitize tables between use.

Fayetteville’s ORA enables guests 21 and older to carry and consume alcoholic beverages in designated cups within the boundary of the district. Participants must be wearing an official ORA wristband, which are provided at partner establishments within the district.
