Fayetteville residents invited to comment on end-of-year CDBG report

Fayetteville residents are invited to review and provide public comments on the end-of-year activity report for the 2020 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) projects.

Each year, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provides a grant to the city to develop projects and activities to improve housing, public and community facilities, and to provide public services for low- to moderate-income residents of Fayetteville.

At the each of the year the city prepares a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) that provides information concerning funding amounts and resources and activities regarding the grant. The report is now available for public review online (download here).

Officials are encouraging all residents, especially those of low- to moderate-income neighborhoods, minorities, and persons with disabilities, to review and comment on the report. Comments will be accepted through March 22, 2021. All comments will be included in the final report, which will be submitted to HUD on or about March 31, 2021.

Residents may comment on the CAPER or request a copy of the report, by emailing [email protected], or by calling 479-575-8260. Comments may also be mailed to: Yolanda Fields, Community Resources Director, 113 W Mountain Street, Fayetteville, AR, 72701.
