There are a couple buds popping up on some of the trees around town. The daffodils are in full bloom. It’s going to rain all weekend. Happy spring, everyone!
If you’d like to kick off your weekend with some tunes, George’s has a happy hour show for you featuring local funkmasters, 1 Oz. Jig at around 6 p.m. Later on Friday night, Tori Miller & Liam St. John, and Ryan Berg will perform. On Saturday, locals Cadillac Jackson will take the stage.
How about some art? There’s a new gallery called VELESERO in north Fayetteville that you could check out on Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and on Saturday from 6 a.m. until noon. Here’s more about that.
There’s a new show at the Momentary up in Bentonville you could check out as well. There are actually three new exhibitions to check out. Details are here.
Art Ventures will debut a new installation called “Caged Bird and The Blue Room” at the Faulkner Center this weekend. More info is here.
Walton Arts Center has a new show by the NWA Ballet Theatre. The troupe will perform a version of the Shakespeare classic, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The Hog basketball team is in Nashville to compete in the SEC tourney this weekend. They take on Missouri this evening at 6 p.m. to start. Go Hogs.
