Restrooms at six local parks are currently under renovation and will be closed until remodeling work is completed.

Parks with closed restrooms include Finger Park, Gulley Park, Lake Fayetteville Softball Complex, Lewis Soccer Complex, Veterans Park and Walker Park. Improvements include upgrading fixtures, flooring, lighting, doors, roofing and paint.

Officials said portable toilets will be made available in park locations where restrooms would normally be open.

Veterans Park – Closure estimated for three days toward the end of April to replace doors.

Walker Park (13th & Block) – Restroom should reopen by early April.

Walker Park (by tennis courts) – This restroom has been removed and a new restroom will be constructed, with an anticipated opening in June.
