The 16th annual West Fork of the White River Cleanup is set for Saturday, May 15.
The volunteer event will work to clean up streamside areas in Fayetteville, West Fork, and Winslow.
Organizers are asking volunteers to RSVP in advance to receive their check-in and cleanup assignment.
In addition to volunteers to clean along the banks of the river, organizers are also seeking experienced boaters with a kayak or canoe to help clean up the stream from the water.
The cleanup event will take place from 9 a.m. until noon. Goodie bags, masks, cleanup supplies, water, and small snacks will be provided, and each registered volunteer will also be entered into a raffle to win a kayak donated by Bass Pro Shop.
