Two more direct flights were added to the list of destinations available from Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA).
Discount carrier Allegiant will begin nonstop service to St. Petersburg, Fla. on July 2, and to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on Oct. 8.

Fares start as low as $38 for a one-way flight, and the new routes will operate twice each week on Monday and Friday, according to the Allegiant website.
The news comes just days after Breeze Airways announced nonstop service plans for Tampa, New Orleans and San Antonio.
