The 17th Annual NWA Pride Parade is set for 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 26 on Dickson Street.

This year’s parade will honor AIDS activist Ruth Coker Burks and trans activist and Washington County Justice of the Peace Evelyn Rios Stafford.

In light of the pandemic, the parade will also be streamed online via Facebook live. Some events, including NWA Pride Festival (including street vendors), Glitterville, and the Hi Tea Pool Party will not be held in 2021.

In addition to the parade, the NWA Pride festivities this year will include a NWA Trans March, a comedy show with Matteo Lane, the annual NWA Pride Drag Brunch, and a concert with Dazz & Brie in the North Forest Lights at Crystal Bridges.
