Polish your magic wand, and dust off your fairy wings. The Firefly Fling Festival returns to the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks on Saturday, July 10.

The annual event includes a list of activities for kids, like fairy house building, nature stations, crafts, live performances, and more.

Special guests will appear at the event such as Butterfly Stilt Walkers from Arkansas Circus Arts, Drum Safari, who will perform in the morning, and Where She Rules who will perform in the evening. There will be a petting zoo and even a unicorn at both sessions. The night will end with fireworks.

This year, the event will be divided into two sessions, a morning and evening session. The morning session will feature lots of activity booths from the garden’s community partners. In the evening, there will be fewer activity booths but guests will enjoy live music and entertainment. To keep crowds at a safe capacity with proper distancing, guests will choose an arrival time when they purchase tickets. The morning session is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m, and the evening session is 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now for Botanical Garden members and will go on sale for non-members on June 5. Tickets for adults are $13 and $4 for children 13 and younger. If tickets are remaining, they may be purchased at the gate at an increased price, $15 for adults and $5 for children.
