Job Description: NWA Trailblazers/BikeNWA is hiring an Event Support Specialist to support the execution of public engagement initiatives for the diverse NWA community, from kiddos to adults. This person will be primarily involved in projects including Slow Streets, National Bike Challenge, Let’s Play Bikes Experience activations, and external event support. The ideal candidate will have an interest in public programming, events, community organizing, and cycling/active transportation. The Event Support Specialist must have strong interpersonal communications and time-management skills. This role requires confidence and decisiveness combined with flexibility and a capacity to give and receive directions graciously. Job Title: Slow Streets Crew Leader
Job Type: Part Time
Location: NWA
Job Description:In partnership with Northwest Arkansas cities, BikeNWA leads the Slow Streets program to expand safe space for activities outdoors. The goal is to make neighborhood streets safer to walk and bike, creating accessible spaces for activities outdoors. On these streets, residents can exercise, make trips to local businesses, and explore the community. Each participating city has a Slow Streets program plan to meet the needs of that route and community. Slow Streets Crew Leaders are responsible for the execution of the program plan as detailed by the Event Manager. The Crew Leader is expected to oversee set up and breakdown of the program, monitor throughout the weekend, and report any issues. Click here for more information

Job Title: Slow Streets Crew
Job Type: Part Time
Location: NWA
Job Description: In partnership with Northwest Arkansas cities, BikeNWA leads the Slow Streets program to expand safe space for activities outdoors. The goal is to make neighborhood streets safer to walk and bike, creating accessible spaces for activities outdoors. On these streets, residents can exercise, make trips to local businesses, and explore the community. Each city has a Slow Streets program plan to meet the needs of that route and community. Slow Streets Crew Members are responsible for the setup and breakdown of the street barricades, signage, and all program materials under the direction of the Event Manager and/or City Lead. This is a labor position and applicants should be prepared to work outdoors in a variety of conditions.
