Bring your friends, family, lawn chairs and picnic blankets to Gulley Park this week, and get ready to kick off the annual Gulley Park Concert Series.

This year’s series begins live music from JukeBoxx on Thursday, June 24.

JukeBoxx is a local party band known for its performance of funk, R&B, and Top 40 hits.

For those unfamiliar, the concert series is organized by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department and features free outdoor live music with plenty of room for picnic blankets and lawn chairs throughout the fields surrounding the gazebo stage at Gulley Park in east Fayetteville.

The music starts at 7 p.m., and the concerts are free and open to the public. Coolers are welcome for those who’d like to pack snacks or dinner, but food vendors are usually set up around the park.
