Pitbull added to Walmart AMP lineup

Mr. Worldwide is coming to Arkansas this fall.

Walmart AMP officials on Tuesday announced that Miami-based rapper Pitbull has been added to the venue’s concert lineup this year with a show set for Wednesday, Sept. 8.

Pitbull began his career in the early 2000s as a reggaeton and Latin hip hop artist. He experienced mainstream success with his 2009 single “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho), followed by his first No. 1 single with his 2011 track, “Give Me Everything.”

He has sold over 25 million studio albums, and over 100 million singles worldwide, and his videos have received over 15 billion views on YouTube. With a B. Billion.

In addition to his music, Pitbull has also appeared in several films, and in 2021 became an owner of the NASCAR team Trackhouse Racing.

Tickets to his appearance at the AMP go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 25. Prices range from $39.95 to $499.95 plus applicable fees.
