If you’re looking for a place to cool off after the NWA Pride Parade this weekend, Bordinos might have just the event for you.

The restaurant will host a cocktail competition beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 26 featuring some of the most talented mixologists on the city.

For $15, attendees can sample creations by seven local bartenders and vote for their favorite. The event will feature cocktails mixed from locally-created spirits from Foxtrail Distillery in Rogers, as well as CBD & Me products.

Bartenders participating in the event include Jorge Prado of Maxine’s Taproom, Bo Counts and Carson Vanduch of Pinpoint, Amber Hurlbut of Infusion Bar, Lauren Shelton of Bordinos, Trey Fincher of Brewskis Draft, Shaun Traxler of Vault Bar, and Jake Gardner of Theos.

The NWA Pride Parade will begin at 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 26 on Dickson Street, and the cocktail competition was scheduled to coincide with the conclusion of the parade festivities.

Organizers say proceeds from the cocktail competition will be donated to local LGBTQIA+ organizations, including NWA Equality, Intransitive, Trans Equality Network, and the local chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

For a bit more information, check out the Facebook event.
