If you missed the summer tradition of Dive-in Movies at the Wilson Park pool last year, well, find your swimsuit and mark your calendar for July 23 because they’re coming back in 2021.

There are two movie events scheduled this year. Fayetteville Parks & Recreation this week announced the series will kick off with a screening of Disney Pixar’s Onward on July 23, followed by Dreamworks’ Trolls World Tour on Aug. 13.

The pool gates open at 7:30 p.m. and the film begins at dusk.

Films are shown on a large, inflatable screen, on top of the pool house visible for guests to see while swimming.

Admission is $1 per person in advance or $2 at the door. Children under age five get in for free.

Concessions are available, and patrons may bring their own inflatables for the pool.
