The deadline for registration for the city’s fall youth soccer league is fast approaching.

City of Fayetteville’s Parks and Recreation department is accepting sign ups for their 2021/22 Fall Youth Soccer Program through July 16.

The fall season is set to begin on Saturday, Aug. 21 and will continue through Oct. 30.

The program is offered for kids aged 3-16 years old, and focuses on player development and sportsmanship.

Teams will meet twice per week, and players will be randomly assigned a team based on age. In addition, volunteer coaching positions are also available.

The program will follow directives based on guidance provided by the Arkansas Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control in regards to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Precautions and protocols will remain in place at the discretion of Fayetteville Parks and Recreation per recommendations from ADH and CDC, officials said.

Registration fees range from $70-90 per player for the fall season and includes a jersey, shorts, socks and an end of season award. Full season which includes the spring league is also available for $90-$125.
