Razorbacks finalize women’s and men’s basketball non-conference schedules

The Arkansas women’s and men’s basketball teams each finalized their 2021-22 non-conference basketball schedules this week.

Both squads will play 13 non-conference games in the upcoming season, as Mike Neighbors enters his fifth season as head coach of the women’s team, and Eric Musselman starts his third season as head Hog for the men’s team.

Games begin Nov. 9 with the women facing Tarleton State and the men’s team playing Mercer.

The highlight of the women’s schedule will come on the road with a rematch against UConn.

“In-state rivalry games, games against conference and national champions, and a rare Thanksgiving in our own kitchens,” said Neighbors. “We believe this schedule will prepare and challenge our roster for SEC play and position us to be in the conversation for postseason success.”

The men’s team will play UALR for the first official time. The Hogs beat the Trojans, who are coached by former Razorback Darrell Walker, in a 2019 exhibition game.

Tip times and TV designations will be announced at a later date, as will the full SEC slates.
