City officials are reminding business owners to renew their Fayetteville business licenses by Sunday, Oct. 31 to avoid late fees.
Renewal fees are $15 and can be submitted online, in person or by mail.
Since 2011, all businesses – including home-based businesses – within the city limits must obtain a business license unless the business qualifies for an exemption.

Renew online
All business licenses can be renewed online using the city’s self-service portal. Visit www.fayetteville-ar.gov/mycitybusiness to renew a license. Those who have not used the system before will first need to register and set up a user ID and password. Once logged in, users can navigate to My Licenses on the dashboard and complete the renewal process.
Renew in person
Visit the Development Services Department at 125 West Mountain Street weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Renew by mail
To renew by mail, send a check or money order, payable to “City of Fayetteville” to the address below. Include the business license number (located on a current business license) and the business name in the memo section. Send payment to:

Once payments are processed, renewed business licenses will be sent to the email address listed on the license record.
