2021 fall bulky waste cleanups scheduled in Fayetteville

The first of four fall bulky waste cleanup events is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 25 at two locations in Fayetteville.

Crews will accept bulky items too large to fit into trash receptacles from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Shaver Foods parking lot, 1367 S. Beechwood Ave. and at the Recycling & Trash Collection Facility, 1560 S. Happy Hollow Road.

Residents are asked to bring a copy of a recent water bill to verify Fayetteville residency.

Household hazardous waste materials will not be accepted at the fall events, however, e-waste will be accepted on all four dates at the Recycling and Trash Collection facility. Detailed information on what is accepted can be found on the city’s website at www.fayetteville-ar.gov/bulkywaste.

Paper shredding will be offered at the Happy Hollow location on this date.

Date: Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021
Time: 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Locations: St. James Baptist Church (764 W. North Street) and Recycling & Trash Facility (1560 S. Happy Hollow Road)

Date: Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021
Time: 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Locations: Butterfield Trail Elementary (3050 Old Missouri Road) and Recycling & Trash Facility (1560 S. Happy Hollow Road)
