Miracle Travel Works poker ride to return to Fayetteville

The 4th annual Miracle Travel Works Poker ride is coming up this weekend.

The bicycle poker ride event benefiting Miracle Travel Works, an organization that provides financial assistance to families seeking urgent medical treatment for seriously ill or injured children, will take place beginning at around noon on Saturday, Oct. 9 in Fayetteville

Check in is set for noon to 12:30 p.m. at Nomad’s Trailside, where riders can register and receive instructions. From there, the ride will visit breweries, bars and restaurants on an easy 3.7 mile ride down the trail system where riders can pick up playing cards before continuing to West End bar where the player with the best hand will receive the grand prize, and all riders will receive free pizza.

Registration is $50, and funds raised during the event will benefit Miracle Travel Works.

MTW Poker Ride Schedule

12-12:30 p.m. – Rider check-in at Nomads Trailside
12:30-1 p.m. – Welcome, MTW presentation, fundraiser overview
1-4:30 p.m. – Riders bike (at their own pace) to West End via the following stops: Fossil Cove Brewing Co., Columbus House Brewery and Tap Room, Prairie Street Bar & Tap
4-5 p.m. – Final stop at West End: Pizza, beer, conversation
4:30 p.m. – Prize announcement
