Halloween is right around the corner, and Fayetteville Public Library is planning a family-friendly event and celebration on Oct. 30.

The event, called Super Saturday, will include the annual Be(A)ware Allergy Friendly Halloween event that had been held at Big Box Karaoke the last few years, along with a performance of Spotlight Characters presents “A Toy Story,” a halloween costume parade, Trick-or-treating, and more.

The event will begin with the Toy Story performance at around 3 p.m., featuring appearances by characters from the classic Pixar film.

After that, a childrens parade will take place around the new Children’s Library area.

Also that afternoon, kids can participate in the allergy-friendly trick-or-treating, organized by Big Box Karaoke and Hedberg Allergy & Asthma, and pick up toys and treats with safety for kids who suffer from food allergies in mind.

The event is sponsored by Big Box Karaoke, Bank of Fayetteville, Ozark Natural Foods, Hedberg Allergy & Asthma, Polish Parties, First Watch, and Elite Dance Studios.
