The League of Women Voters will host the organization’s first 5K and 1-mile fun run on Saturday, Nov. 13 at Veterans Memorial Park by Lake Fayetteville.
Both in-person and virtual options are available, and participants can choose to run or walk both the 5K and the 1-mile event.

In-person registration is $45, and virtual registration is $55, which includes shipping costs.
All participants will receive a t-shirt. Those who register by Oct. 18 are expected to receive a shirt in their preferred size.
Live music and goodies are planned at the finish line.
Funds raised from the event will go towards furthering the group’s mission of empowering voters and defending democracy.
