Who’s ready to put their putt-putt skills to the test?

We ask, because it’s once again time for Single Parent Scholarship Fund’s annual Golftoberfest mini-golf fundraiser.

Due to the pandemic, this year’s mini-golf tourney will be held over the course of a couple weeks from Oct. 16-30 at either Gator Golf in Fayetteville or Golf Mountain in Lowell. Participants can register online here, and play on their own time “at a safe, social-distance time of your choosing,” organizers said.

The event, like a traditional golf tournament, features four-person teams playing in an 18 hole competition. Registration is $20, and participants will receive a round of golf, cap, t-shirt, and a chance to win prizes.

The tourney is one of the largest fundraisers of the year for Single Parent Scholarship Fund, an organization that offers encouragement and access to higher education for single parents in Northwest Arkansas.

Gator Golf is located at 2692 N. College Ave. in Fayetteville, and Golf Mountain is at 1115 N Dixieland St. in Lowell.
