The event is the newest race from the organizers of the Cow Paddy Run, Hero Half Marathon and Nutty Runner 5K, all which benefit The Spark Foundation. The local nonprofit supports health and fitness education in local schools while providing funds for the Fayetteville Public Education Foundation.
The inaugural event begins at Lake Fayetteville’s North Shore Disc Golf course and offers either a 5k paved trail race, a 5k nature trail race, or a kid-friendly 1K that uses both paved and nature trails.
Cost to register is $35 for either of the 5K races, or $15 for the kids 1K event.
