Holidaze pop-up bar announces special event and programming schedule for 2021

Holidaze, the holiday themed pop-up bar that has expanded into two locations for 2021, will feature a variety of special events at both the all-ages venue on Dickson Street and the 21-and-up bar on Block Avenue.

Organizers have released the season schedule, which includes live music, an ornament auction, a holiday market, drag show, burlesque performers, the annual egg nog competition and more.


Holidaze at Walton Arts Center – Special events

In addition to dome seating, fire pits, s’mores kits and Letters to Santa, the following events are planned at the all-ages venue on Dickson Street:

Walton Arts Center

What: All-ages Holidaze
Where: Rose Garden, Dickson Street
When: 5-11 p.m. from Nov. 19 to Dec. 23

Block Avenue

What: 21-and-up Holidaze
Where: 101 N. Block Ave. (formerly Ozark Cleaners)
When: 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. from Nov. 19 to Dec. 31

Elf’s Workshop

When: Monday, Nov. 29, 5-8 p.m.
Info: Kids can make and take a holiday craft and get their pictures taken with the elves.
Cost: $5 at the door.

Annual Nog Off Competition

When: Monday, Dec. 6, 6-11 p.m.
Info: Purchase an egg nog flight and vote for the best nog created by local bars and restaurants. Proceeds benefit the Fayetteville Independent Restaurant Association and Walton Arts Center education programming.
Cost: $15 for an egg nog flight.

Santa Visits Holidaze

When: Monday, Dec. 13, 6-9 p.m.
Info: Get a professional picture with the big guy himself and Mrs. Claus and a Christmas cookie from Santa
Cost: $5 at the door.


Holidaze on Block – Special events

The following special events are planned at the 21-and-up bar on Block Avenue:

Live music: Nick Shoulders

When: Sunday, Nov. 21 at 8:30 p.m.
Info: With a kind word and a mean yodel, Nick hopes to put the ‘Try’ in country.
Cost: Tickets are $15 presale or $20 the day of the show.

NWA Makers Auction

When: Sunday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
Info: Local makers have handcrafted oversized ornaments for the Makers Tree, and the ornaments will be auctioned live to benefit Peace at Home Family Shelter.
Cost: There is no cover charge.

Live music: Stooges Brass Band from New Orleans

When: Friday, Dec. 10 at 9 p.m.
Info: According to BestOfNewOrleans.com, “The Stooges Brass Band puts on one of the most entertaining, audience-interactive shows of any band on the scene.”
Cost: Tickets are $10 presale or $15 the day of the show.

Full Moon Market

When: Wednesday, Dec. 15, 5-10 p.m.
Info: Holiday shopping is made easy with gifts galore from local artists, makers and merchants.
Cost: There is no cover charge.

Radiant Rubyesque Productions presents: Santa’s Naughty List

When: Sunday, Dec. 19 at 8:30 p.m.
Info: Get ready for a bit of naughtiness with regional burlesque performers.
Cost: Tickets are $10 presale or $15 the day of the show.

Holidazzle Drag Show

When: Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 8:30 p.m.
Info: These queens bring the seasonal sparkle, featuring Kiera Maserati, Umami Origami, Faux L’Beau and Ella Rosa.
Cost: Tickets are $10 presale and $15 the day of the show.
