The Fayetteville High School Student Council will hold its 23rd annual Homeless Vigil on Thursday, Dec. 2.

During the event, students sleep in makeshift shelters constructed from cardboard to simulate what it’s like to be homeless for a night.

Students will raise money for Families in Transition from 5-11 p.m. Thursday on the north side of the campus, between Phases 2 and 3 near Bulldog Boulevard.

Those who’d like to help donate to the cause may do so online here. Purchases of sweatshirts and hoodies sold online will also benefit the cause.
