Library to host free Spanish language screening of ‘Coco’ Dec. 7

It’s movie night.

Fayetteville Public Library and Experience Fayetteville have teamed up for a Spanish language screening of the Pixar/Disney film Coco on Tuesday, Dec. 7.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with churros and champurrado that are free for attendees, with the film screening set to begin at 6 p.m.

The screening will take place in the Willard and Pat Walker Community Room inside the library. Masks will be required inside the library.

The film was released in 2017, and is inspired by the Mexican holiday Day of the Dead. It won two Academy Awards (Best Animated Feature, Best Original Song) that year, and grossed over $800 million at the box office.

The event is free, and open to the public, though registration is requested of those who are planning to attend.
