A free COVID-19 vaccine clinic for anyone 5 and older is set for this Wednesday at the Scott Family Amazeum.

The event, organized by the NWA Council and Arkansas Children’s Northwest, will take place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Dec. 22 at the Amazeum interactive children’s museum, located at 1009 Museum Way in Bentonville.

The clinic is paid for in part by a Communities for Immunity award the Amazeum received recently to help promote vaccine confidence in NWA. In addition to this week’s event, additional vaccination clinics will be held in early 2022. Specifics on upcoming clinics at the Amazeum will be released at a later date.

All three approved vaccines, including the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines and boosters doses will be available at Wednesday’s event.

Advance registration is requested, but not required for the clinic.

NWA Council officials said that businesses, cities, churches or schools interested in partnering to host a vaccination clinic can send an email to [email protected] for more information on potentially setting one up.

Information on additional opportunities to get a COVID-19 vaccine in NWA is available at nwacouncil.org/vaccine-calendar.
