Weekend Flyer: Lights of the Ozarks, A Christmas Carol, North Forest Lights, and more

With Christmas Eve falling on a Friday, there’s not a lot happening around town this weekend.

There are some things, though.

There’s Lights of the Ozarks on the Fayetteville square that you could check out.

There are a couple shows you could watch, including the Dickens classic A Christmas Carol playing at the Fayetteville Public Library by the folks from TheatreSquared. T2 also has a show at their home theatre called The Heart of Christmas playing this weekend. Here’s ticket info to those shows.

If you’ve been meaning to see the latest exhibits at The Momentary or Crystal Bridges in Bentonville, this weekend might be a good time to do that. In Some Form or Fashion is still on display at The Momentary, and in addition to the impressive permanent collection, Crystal Bridges has the Selena Forever/Siempre Selena now on display. Or you could check out the North Forest Lights at Crystal Bridges. Here’s more about that.

There’s a show at Six Twelve Coffee House on Sunday night. You could check out local musicians Jerold & Gaby performing Afro-Cuban & Soft Jazz at the coffee shop in west Fayetteville.

It’s also a good weekend to just stay in your pj’s with some nog, and play some Monopoly or something with your friends and family. Maybe drive around to see some lights. Play with the new toys that Santa brings.
