FAYETTEVILLE — Residential trash and recycling pickups will occur as normal on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

City offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 17 in observance of the holiday, but customers should still place their trash and recycling bins by the road for regular pickup, according to a news release.

The city’s transfer station will be closed for the holiday, but will reopen on Tuesday.
