PHOTOS: Fayetteville awakens to snowfall on Saturday

  • By Todd Gill · Saturday, Jan 15, 2022

Fayetteville awoke to a thin blanket of snow across the city on Saturday.

Winter weather is forecast for most of the region throughout the day, with accumulations of up to 5 inches possible in some areas, according to the National Weather Service in Tulsa.

“Gusty winds in conjunction with snowfall could result in briefly restricted visibilities, as well as some blowing and drifting across east-west roadways,” according to the briefing. “Use caution if traveling.”

By 10 a.m. snowfall was measured at just under 2 inches in north Fayetteville.
