311 to perform in Fayetteville this spring

311 is heading back on the road this year, and they’re coming to Fayetteville this spring.

The band announced about a dozen dates around the country in March and April, and fifth on the list was an appearance at JJ’s Live on March 15.

According to a press release about the show, the band is still playing with their original lineup, considered “one of the longest-running original lineups in rock” including vocalist/guitarist Nick Hexum, vocalist/turntables Doug SA Martinez, bassist Aaron P-Nut Willis, drummer Chad Sexton, and guitarist Tim Mahoney.

The band formed in Omaha, Nebraska in Omaha, Nebraska in 1990, and has released 13 studio albums and performed about 2,000 shows since then. They’re best known for their radio hits including Down, All Mixed Up, Amber, Love Song, Come Original, and others.

Presale tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Jan. 19, with tickets available to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 21.
