Fayetteville Schools move to online instruction Thursday

A late afternoon snow on Wednesday led to some light accumulation and slick roads across the region Thursday morning.

As a result, Fayetteville Public Schools will transition to online learning for the day (Jan. 20).

“We have made the decision to transition all Fayetteville Public Schools from in-person to online learning today, Thursday, January 20, due to inclement weather,” said superintendent John Colbert in an email to parts this morning. “Thursday will be considered Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) day.”
