FAYETTEVILLE — A cleanup of Town Branch Creek will take place from 1-4 p.m. this Saturday, Jan. 22.
The event is being organized by Fayetteville Parks and Recreation, and will focus on the area of the creek between Mr. Taco Loco and 15th street this weekend.
Organizers say most of the cleanup will take place in the water, but assistance on the bank and along the trail will also be helpful.
Some hip and chest waders will be available, but if you have waders, much boots, or rain boots to bring, those are recommended as well.
Volunteers will meet up at 1 p.m. on Town Branch Trail, roughly 300 yards east of the Taco Loco trail entrance.
