Mangos closes east Fayetteville location

The Mangos taco shop in east Fayetteville has closed after just a few months in business.

Equipment and seating had been removed from the restaurant when we stopped by Tuesday, and a note on the drive-thru window confirmed the closure.

“We will be closing this location due to our owner having some health issues,” the note said.

The restaurant opened in October, and was located inside the White Oak Station building at 1940 N. Crossover Road.

Mangos is a project by former Celi’s/Oseguera’s owner Tony Oseguera.

It’s not all sad news for fans of the restaurant, however. Mangos still operates its original location at 2050 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
