The Fayetteville Public Library’s youth department is seeking a muralist for a new project.
Artists are invited to submit an idea for a “cozy mouse house” mural in the library’s preschool area, according to a news release.
From the announcement:
The selected artist will install their piece, which will kick off Mr. Mouse’s Mail – a letter-writing program where preschoolers and grade schoolers exchange letters with Mr. Mouse who has now “moved in” to the library.
The library will provide all of the materials needed for the project, and the selected artist will receive a cash prize, according to the release.
