Guitar legends ZZ Top will bring their Raw Whisky Tour to the Walmart AMP on Wednesday, June 29, the band announced on Monday.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 11, and range from $35 to $179.95 plus fees.
ZZ Top are working toward the July 22 release of their new album called “Raw.” The album was recorded in connection with the band’s 2019 Netflix documentary “That Little Ol’ Band From Texas.” The film included a session at Gruene Hall which provided the basis for the new album.
The “whisky” tour reference is presumably related to the recent release of ZZ Top Tres Hombres whisky, which was a collaboration with Balcones Distilling of Waco, Texas.
