Grammy-winning classical tabla master Zakir Hussain will present a classical Indian music performance on Tuesday, April 5 at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville.

The 7 p.m. Triveni performance will feature Kala Ramnath on violin and Jayanthi Kumaresh on Saraswati veena.

Triveni is a mythical site where three sacred rivers unite in India, and the name represents the confluence of the accomplished virtuosos joining together for the first time in a collaboration that unites North and South Indian traditions.

The performance is presented as part of the art center’s Mosaix programming, and the 10×10 Arts Series, which includes affordable entertainment options with $10 tickets.

Tickets can be purchased at the Walton Arts Center box office, by calling 479-443-5600 or by visiting waltonartscenter.org.

Note: All patrons are required to wear a mask while inside Walton Arts Center.
