A monthly art walk and outdoor festival will return to the Fayetteville square next month.
Experience Fayetteville officials this week announced that First Thursday Fayetteville will kick off its series of monthly events on Thursday, May 5.
The events include live music, artist demonstrations and installations, food trucks, group bike rides, and an art market featuring work by more than 40 independent artists each month.
Each monthly event will be organized around at theme this year, with the first in the series set to feature art from the natural world.
Themes include “In Bloom” in May, “Ozark Oasis” in July, “Dog Daze” in August, “A Closer Look” in September, and “Larger than Life” in October.
More details, including music and artist lineups, will be released at a later date.
Beer and wine will be sold at the event, and can be enjoyed on the street as part of the city’s Outdoor Refreshment Area.
The event will kick off each week at 5:30 p.m., and run until around 9 p.m.
