Friday is Earth Day, and local co-op Ozark Natural Foods is planning a celebration for the occasion.

The event is set for 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on the patio of the store, located at 380 N. College Avenue in Fayetteville.

The celebration will kick off at 11 a.m. with a happy hour in the taproom as the City of Fayetteville passes out free compost buckets, and ONF officials pass out swag including stickers, sunglasses, snack bars, seltzers, and a reusable tote (while supplies last) to anyone who uses alternative transportation (walks, bikes, rides scooter or bus) to the event.

In addition, there will be live music by local songwriter, Karyn Hall.

The event is free to attend and open to the public.
