The Walmart AMP will kick off the 2022 concert season with some updated policies and offerings.

For starters, the AMP is going cashless. Only debit or credit cards or mobile payments, including Google Pay and Apple Pay, will be accepted for in-venue purchases at concession and merchandise stands.

Cash will still be accepted to buy tickets at the box office but not for purchases within the venue.

“Cashless transactions improve the time it takes to process payments which reduces wait times,” said Nick Zazal, Walmart AMP general manager.

The venue will also unveil new food and drink options.

Shake’s Frozen Custard will sell fresh-made custard and blended concretes and will also offer a line of boozy milkshakes. Freedom Kettle Corn of Eureka Springs will have regular and caramel kettle corn and fresh fried pork rinds for sale. Other menu additions include pizza, Frito chili pie, Mexican fare, barbeque and chicken.

As for drinks, beer and seltzers will now be available at all food locations, including new stands specifically for frozen drinks and cocktails. Happy hour specials will be available and include specialty drinks for select shows.

The venue will continue its clear bag policy which requires clear plastic or vinyl bags. One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags and small clutch purses are also allowed.
