It’s Friday again. Who’s ready for one? (This guy)

It’s a pretty great weekend for music in Fayetteville. Acclaimed artist/songwriter Jason Isbell is in town fresh off a couple nights at Red Rocks for a Friday night show at JJ’s Live. Heartless Bastards are also on the bill. Here’s ticket info.

Also on on Friday night, Roots HQ has a couple of good songwriters in Erin Rae and Logan Ledger. Here’s ticket info for that.

How about a band of talented ladies? George’s has a performance by all-female local supergroup, Divas on Fire, who are back together for a performance for happy hour Friday night. Later on, George’s has another big show with Opal Agafia and Mountain Sprout. Tickets to George’s shows are here.

There’s a cool house show at The Heartbreak House on Block Avenue Saturday night featuring Irish singer/songwriter Pat Byrne, along with Beat Root Revival and local duo, Meadow Makers.

What about some jazz? Mount Sequoyah Center, in partnership with the NWA Jazz Society and Artosphere, will present Los Veleros at the center on Friday night. Here’s more info.

Also on Saturday night, Smoke & Barrel Tavern has the return of Adam Faucett performing alongside Fayetteville artist Jess Harp. Tickets are $10. Here’s a bit more info.

It should be dry enough this weekend for the Chucky Waggs and the Company of Raggs show scheduled for Saturday night in the Kingfish backyard.

It’s the last weekend to see TheatreSquared’s latest hit, The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity. Lots of folks have been raving about it. Here’s a schedule of performances for this weekend.

There are a couple opportunities to check out some cool arts and crafts this weekend. Community Creative Center will host the Arkansas Pottery Festival with demonstrations, lectures, and dozens of local potters showing off and selling their wares. Here’s more information on that.

Just up the road, the Little Craft Show will hold its annual spring event in downtown Springdale. Here’s more about that.

You can ride your bike from the Fayetteville square to the Bentonville square. You can launch some golf balls into Razorback Stadium. There’s a Strawberry-picking festival at Rivercrest Orchard.

Sunday is Mother’s Day. Thanks for being awesome, all you Moms out there.

There’s also a Miranda Lambert show at the Walmart AMP on Sunday night, and a Mother’s Day pickleball tournament at PB&JJ’s. There’s more below.

Have fun, y’all.
