FreshGrass may have just concluded this past weekend, but the Momentary is keeping the live music rolling with their Live on the Green concert series! The contemporary art space satellite is bringing internationally known headliners to their outdoor Momentary Green venue, including hip-hop super-duo Run the Jewels, OutKast’s Big Boi, German Electro pioneers Kraftwerk, and legendary musicians Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt.

Live on the Green Series Lineup

Kraftwerk 3-D | Saturday, June 26, 9 pm
A fusion of art, beat, and electronics, Kraftwerk 3-D concerts are a true work of art. Grab your 3-D glasses (don’t worry, the Momentary will provide) and enjoy an evening with the recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and 1970s visionaries who ignited pop music’s evolution with their revolutionary soundscapes and musical experimentation. Get tickets here.

Run the Jewels & Big Boi | Saturday, July 16, 8 pm
Run the Jewels (featuring rapper and producer El-P and rapper Killer Mike) and Grammy award-winning artist Big Boi take the stage at the Momentary as part of a weekend-long celebration of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art’s current exhibition The Dirty South. Must be age 18+ to attend. This show is standing room only. Get tickets here.

Lyle Lovett & John Hiatt | Saturday, October 8
Lyle Lovett has broadened the definition of American music in a career that spans 14 albums. The Texas-based musician fuses elements of country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel, and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers. Sharing the bill, master lyricist John Hiatt delivers songs filled with tales of redemption, relationships, and surrendering on his own terms. Tickets coming soon; keep your eyes on this page.
